Channel 10 announces new home at Knoxville's Market Square
November 10, 2009 20:16 PM
On Friday, October 30, Live at Five at 4 began the first of many live broadcasts from downtown Knoxville's Market Square.
The plan is a partnership with downtown Knoxville and Knox ivi, an internet video company at 17 Market Square. Founded by Joe Dickey, Knox ivi allows area schools, businesses and other organizations to produce live or taped content that is broadcast online.
Live at Five at 4 will be live from Market Square daily and will broadcast an entire show from Knox ivi once a week.
During the 4pm hour, folks can watch Live at Five at 4 to see Beth, Russell, LaSaundra and Erin live and off-the cuff. Besides all of the action in the studio, Live at Five at 4 will also get to take viewers outside into Market Square to see all the excitement as it happens.
Knox ivi also has an internet cafe, with food from The Lunch Box, where visitors can plug in and enjoy the online activities of Live at Five at 4, including chatting live with the anchors.
